Vanity from the past

November 30, 2010 § Leave a comment

We headed to Jekyll Island this Thanks giving weekend for a getaway from Atlanta and our busy lives. The island has nothing much to do but, explore, relax and enjoy the beach. Since it was cold, beach activity or renting bicycles for exploring was totally out of the question. So, we  decided to drive past  different landmarks on the island – The Georgia Sea Turtle Centre, The museum, and a market place for loacl artists and artisans etc.

At our museum stop, I totally fell in love with the building and particularly the Vanity in the Powder room  that I so wanted to blog about. I liked the fact that the building was restored to its originality right upto the faucet in the powder room. So her it is my first post in the “I Digg this”..! Category
